We Love Parent Involvement!

Parents are always welcome in the Journeys classrooms.  We believe that parents are the number one influence on their children, so we encourage partnership with our parents.  We provide many tools to help you spiritually nurture your children.  Our hope is for each family that comes to GCC, to have children that are life long Christ followers.

Some of the resources we provide include

Parent Cue Cards – We have monthly parent cue cards for preschool & school age classes.  They contain activities to help parents reinforce the monthly lessons.  They include Meal Time, Drive Time, & Hang Time activities and conversation starters.

Parent Cue App – This is a great resource for the tech savvy parents & children.  It puts all the preschool or school age parent cues at your fingertips.  You can find the Parent Cue App (from rethink technology) in both the Apple & Android markets.  It costs $1.99, but is well worth it.  It updates weekly with the Bible Story video.  If you miss a Sunday, your children don’t miss a lesson!

God Time Cards - These contain 4 daily devotions for your school age child to do with you or alone.  It teaches them to use their Bibles and develop a regular time with God.  The Kindergarten – 5th grade classes use the same devotion, so they are great for families.
