Grace Groups

Grace Community Church has taken some big steps to become a church of small groups rather than a church with a small group program.  What does that mean?   It means we do ministry primarily in and through small groups rather than through a variety of programs.  We call our small groups Grace Groups and they are the primary means for discipleship, relationships, and care at Grace Community Church.

We use the following acronym to describe what Grace Groups are like.

Growth – Grace Groups are places where individuals are challenged to grow toward full devotion to Christ as Scriptural truth is applied to life.

Relationships – Healthy relationships characterized by acceptance, love, openness, encouragement, confidentiality and honesty are the environment for life change in Grace Groups.

Accountability – Grace Groups provide a safe place where individuals are reminded and encouraged to fulfill the commitments they have made to God, to their families and to each other.

Care – Grace Groups will creatively provide nurture and care in practical ways for everyday life and in times of crisis or change.

Evangelism – Grace Groups will be committed to fulfilling Jesus’ Great Commission by representing Jesus to those who do not yet know him and by encouraging each other to share Jesus with others in our lives.

When can I sign up for a Grace Group? Make a request at any time to join a Grace Group.  This helps promote intimacy within each group and strengthens relationships.

How do I sign up for a Grace Group? Call the office at 540-662-3300, or you can send an email to gracegroups@gracecommunity.com or you can fill out a form here.
