Short Term Mission Trips
A Great Way to Develop Relationships, Encounter God, & Grow Spiritually

Grace Community Church’s Outreach Ministry offers opportunities throughout the year to participate in service projects around the region and across the country.Through short term mission trips, volunteers can help flood victims get back into their homes, assist with community building projects, work in inner city soup kitchens & homeless shelters, teach children about God’s love, or serve in any number of ways that make a difference in the lives of people in need.
Current Opportunity: Disaster assistance with Samaritan’s Purse in Nashville, Tennessee
Tentative Dates: To be determined
Cost: To be determined by number of participants
Because of torrential rains over the past week, much of Nashville is under water. Thousands of people in Tennessee have been driven from their homes, and nearly 20 people have died in some of the worst flooding in history for this area.
Samaritan’s Purse is coordinating a response with volunteers from across the country and GCC is hoping to send a team to help in this disaster relief effort.
Volunteer teams clean out mud-soaked houses so that they can be repaired. As we work, we help families cope with their losses and offer them the hope found in Jesus Christ. No special skills are required!
An experience like this is definitely a life changer not just for those being served, but also for those that serve.
