Passages is Grace Community Churches adult discipleship ministry. It’s designed is to help God seekers and God followers mature their faith and relationship with Jesus Christ through the study and discussion of Scripture and other resources. Passages classes are designed to meet people where they are in their journey of life, regardless of whether or not they have a personal belief in the redeeming power of Christ.  Each Fall and Spring semester courses are offered to cultivate spiritual growth and a deeper following of Jesus Christ.

Passages classes are divided into four categories. Discovery courses offer a thorough examination of basic tenets of the Christian faith, who God is and His relation to us from the beginning of human history, through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, to the call of the local church today.  Exploration courses, through a focus on the basics of Christian doctrine and theology, will provide in-depth studies of how Christians mature spiritually in the context of Christian community while learning to have “eyes like Jesus” and an awareness of the need in others.   In Pursuit courses, students consider how holiness, faith, hope, love, and humility take root in our lives, even as we sometimes stagger through the complexity and challenge of daily living.  Expedition courses provide an intensive study in the gospel and how it is lived out in all of life.  Expedition students will become mobilized and equipped for ongoing growth, significant ministry and Kingdom impact in the community and world.
